What excites us
You have 8+ years of hands-on experience as a senior contributor to teams that have proved they can ship great products.
You're a full-stack generalist most adept with with popular client-side and server-side (Ruby on Rails / Hotwire / Typescript / Postgres) technologies.
You have strong object-oriented design and programming skills with experience architecting solutions for complicated systems.
You have experience building software that enables money movement with a penchant for digitizing historically paper-based processes.
You try to give back to the development community as a contributor to Open Source Software projects or other pro-bono avenues.
Working at Folio
Folio is a Ruby on Rails app that interfaces with automations written in Typescript deployed to AWS.
We meet daily for standup except Friday and otherwise keep meetings to a minimum. Quarterly, we travel to work together in person and visit one of our hotel partners.
For the most part, we rely on Google Meet, GitHub, and Slack to make decisions and get things done day-to-day.
