Folio automatically processes emails sent to your property managers and routes invoices to the correct storefront for each property. We've enhanced the system with intelligent matching that uses multiple data points to ensure accurate routing.
How it works:
When an invoice arrives, Folio analyzes multiple signals to find the right match: property address and name matching identifies properties from invoice text and email content, email data analysis uses sender information and email patterns to route invoices correctly, and we've recently added improved geocoded location matching:
Folio extracts the address from the invoice
Converts it to precise latitude/longitude coordinates
Searches for your properties within a configurable radius using these coordinates
Matches the invoice to the correct property
The system combines these approaches to route invoices accurately even when address formatting varies, names appear in different forms, or sender information changes.
This runs automatically as part of Folio's invoice processing pipeline, leading to even faster invoice processing speeds. The multi-signal approach means more invoices are automatically matched to the right property regardless of formatting differences or data variations, and non-invoice documents are automatically removed. This reduces manual review and ensures complete invoice coverage across your portfolio.
