You may have noticed a new teammate in your Activity feed for your Bills.

Now, in your Activity Feed, see more of the work happening behind the scenes by Folio, such as the bills that are getting auto-approved (aka "touchless", or "matched"). ✨

Folio's Bills activity feed has always shown the lifecycle of a bill, and where it currently stands: order placed, items received, invoice approved. Step by step... Well, human step by human step.

Now, see the reconciliation work your Folio automations are doing for you.

Let us know what else you'd like to see!

A few other highlights across the Folio suite this week

  • Bills: The bill view now collapses empty cards and shows notes directly in the timeline, so AP teams see only what matters at a glance. Bill status text is now better aligned visually, and for large invoice batches, exports are now capped to prevent the system from timing out.

  • Pay: When a payment method is changed on a bill — for example, when a supplier requests a check instead of a virtual card — payers will now get notified of the change, helping you keep tabs on your virtual card payments.

  • Inventory: Offline counting now handles sync conflicts intelligently. When two team members count the same items and sync at different times, Folio detects the overlap and walks you through resolving differences.

  • Buy: We've rolled out automated order hold management. When orders are unable to be processed due to credit holds or other issues, buyers are now notified immediately and can release the hold without contacting support.
