What is a Lightning Automation on Folio?

A Lightning Automation is Folio's signature approach to connecting directly with supplier websites. It offers a faster, more powerful purchasing experience than traditional EDI or PunchOut flows.

• Access to the supplier’s complete catalog for your property

• Real-time inventory and pricing updates

• Manager: We've improved controls for managing linked lightning suppliers and refined the process for adding new suppliers directly to your property.

• Manager: Searching for suppliers is now more accurate with support for searching by supplier ID from your accounting system right within Folio.
