Today’s Folio Bulletin is more for the corporate administrators and the tech teams who configure your Folio.

…But we, at Folio, love a product enhancement that boosts both usability AND security at the same time, so we thought it was worth celebrating.

SAML 2.0 is now live on Folio for our Enterprise customers! This means that corporate admins can identify an application as identity provider ("IdP") within your systems, and that application can be a source for authentication into Folio. Wa-la! Folio user access goes on autopilot.

New hires can get access day one, with no extra admin steps. No more access lingering after someone leaves. No more passwords to remember.

What this means for teams that use it:

  • Frictionless onboarding for users. You can login into Folio using your other systems.

  • Access controls become centralized, since Folio users sync directly from your chosen IdP.
