Folio continues to prioritize features that provide greater visibility.
Day to day, more visibility means fewer surprises, earlier answers, and more time for strategic decisions.
Over time, the value of greater visibility compounds! It leads to better financial outcomes and smoother operations.
This week, we're pleased to gift the good people processing invoices a new Draft Bills Inbox. There, get your invoices earlier, see where they stand, and address exceptions faster.
But wait, there's more!
Previously, if any bill needed additional inputs, Folio would send you an email. Now, those bills are escalated directly in-app to your Needs Review queue!
For example, if Folio required a higher-quality scan for transcription, you'll now see that right at the top of your queue. See other examples of potential actions in your Folio Help Center.
In summary, Draft Bills means that you will have visibility to:
the status of bills as they are getting processed
escalations when a bill needs extra info to get processed.
Other updates to Folio this week
Inventory: You can now see your last count quantity while counting, making it easy to spot discrepancies. Pack size descriptions now display on snapshots, and you can edit submitted snapshots without starting over.
Buy: Orders now clearly show "Partially Received" status when some items have arrived. Orders are also automatically canceled when all items become unavailable, with email notifications.
Bills: We've continued improving the invoice processing pipeline for faster, more reliable transcription. We've also made the Accrual Report faster and more reliable, with improved filtering to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
