Today we announce Files, an inbox that gives you visibility into every bill and document that Folio receives for your property.
As you can imagine, Folio receives a lot of documents! Each day bills, packing slips, inventory sheets, receipts, and catalog information are emailed, scanned, texted and uploaded.
Then, Folio processes them. These documents get transcribed, categorized, matched to the correct property, order or transaction, and much more! We kept a lot of that magic behind the scenes so you have a clean queue of actions to take in Folio.
But now, with Files, there's a place you can see the Folio process in action and, if needed, take action.
For example, if an invoice appears delayed, it may have been classified as a duplicate and discarded by Folio. With Files, you can find it and hit Convert to create a bill.
Files is another example of Folio's commitment to providing more visibility and control to our users. So work becomes easier.
